| Which team to join on a Self Driving company? Posted: 06 Jun 2020 04:41 PM PDT Hi all! I was interviewing for many self driving companies (NVidia, Lyft etc) and they've asked me which team I'd like to join. Which is the most powerful or interesting group to join? The one that you learn the most or you have more research component and publications? Or the team that pays better or the one that is top of the hierarchy. I guess is the team that does the motion planning as they use ML and you learn a transferable skill. But I also sense that the Computer Vision team is a strong one. I do like everything so I'd just want some guidance on the groups within a company. I will put an example, in finance, you would want to be a Front Office quant or work for a Hedge Fund as a quant, all the other departments are less interesting in terms of the job challenge, the pay and the upside potential Thank you so much!!
