How does Tesla label their 3D bounding boxes?

This is just a curiosity that I had. I'm also interested in buying a Tesla. Tesla is known for not using LiDAR and relies on cameras, radars and ultrasonic for its self-driving platform. From Andrej Karpathy's recent presentations, there is a green ground truth bounding box around cars or objects in the ego-vehicle's path. But if they don't have LiDAR, how do their labellers label those objects? Do they try to estimate ground-truth locations and bounding box extents of objects using radar and ultra-sonic? I assume the accuracy of this degrades significantly with distance...

Its trying to be the next Cruise. May be already succeeded in it, since Ford and VW have took their side. How does it rank in this sub compared to Cruise and Aurora?
