Simulator that has Vector Map Support? Posted: 22 Jun 2020 06:46 PM PDT Hi, I am trying to learn Vector Map (HD map) based localization, and I'm looking for a simulator that provides annotated map containing road lanes, curbs, traffic signs etc. The only simulator that has a Vector Map support I can think of is Autoware, but I don't think it is mature enough. Are there any other simulators or datasets that have annotated Vector Map? Thanks for trying to help. Joey [link] [comments]

Posted: 23 Jun 2020 06:07 AM PDT I'm currently writing an essay about self-driving cars for my GCSEs, and I would really appreciate it if you guys could answer these questions for me: How safe do you think self driving cars are - do you think they're safer than our cars now or more dangerous and why? And how do you think they'll affect us from a safety standpoint? Thanks so much guys! [link] [comments]

What is the earliest Kia/Hyundai with stop & go ACC plus Lane Centering? Posted: 22 Jun 2020 08:54 PM PDT I've watched a bunch of reviews from The Straight Pipes over the years on how Kia/Hyundai have the best safety features to the point where they basically drive themselves on the highway through turns and stop & go situations. I've been searching for the past 2 hours trying to see what are the earliest models that have the ability to do this but cant seem to find out which ones will play ping pong between the lanes and which will actually keep centered. Would a higher end 2017 model year Kia/Hyundai SUV handle stop & go while also keeping centered or just bounce between the lanes? [link] [comments] |
