Coronavirus at Nuro.ai HQ in Mountain View, CA

Via an undisclosed internal source it was confirmed that Nuro.ai sent out a message to all employees that an employee in Mountain View was confirmed to have Coronavirus. It is also believed that the employee came into the office and worked while infected, before notifying management. Multiple employees within Nuro.ai's HQ site frequently travel to the Scottsdale, AZ and Houston, TX site, as well employees from AZ and TX to the CA site.

Previously Nuro.ai employed contract workers from Strio Consulting who were only given 5 paid days off per year (including sick and vacation). Nuro.ai has recently converted all contractors to full-time employees. It is unknown what the paid time off policy is for non-management employees (management has unlimited (within reason) PTO) since the conversion.
