    Openpilot future capabilities?

    Posted: 19 Jan 2020 09:50 AM PST

Is there a roadmap available that shows the future development of OP?

Like will it ever be able to navigate highways on it's own (taking the right on and off ramps)? Recognize street lights? Stop signs? Maybe even navigate around cities?

I think this would equate to a level 3 system capability?

Will self driving cars work in countries where we drive on the left?

Since I live in Australia, I have a vested interest in understanding the challenges that SDC's will face driving on the left. The amount of training data for right-side driving must be orders of magnitude greater than left side. Is it just a matter of "mirror-imaging" the spacial model and letting the AI make right-side decisions?

Does anybody know if it is possible to install comma.ai on a Mazda CX-5 2016. I could not find any documentation on it.
