I'm thinking a picture of a waymo pacifica, keep the picture of Steve, something with Sebastian Thrun, Zoox car, some lidar visualizations, an hd map, etc. [link] [comments] |
| Why do some people insist that LIDAR+HD Map == hardcoded solution with zero versatility? Posted: 28 Dec 2019 10:13 PM PST I think one of the most proliferate misunderstanding in FSD is that geo-fenced solution == hardcoded solution. This gem of a comment was a prime example of it, and that particular user also has this decently upvoted comment. Honestly I think Tesla and some of the uneducated fans are very much responsible at spreading this misinformation, another one being it's Vision vs. LIDAR when in reality it's Vision vs. (Vision + LIDAR).
