Posted: 13 Aug 2020 09:50 AM PDT Like the title says, I am writing an essay on the legal, ethical and cultural issues that need to be considered both during development and public use of driverless cars being used as taxis. I've been doing some research on the topic (mainly the legal side) and multiple places online mention UN and UNECE laws relating to things like "The driver cannot take their hands off the wheel for more than 3 minutes at a time (In level 3 cars)". After some research however, I can't seem to find anything official matching this description. I may be searching wrong (this is my first essay at A-Level) but I've been using CTRL + F on pages to find any indication but can't find anything. Does anyone know where I can find anything on the legal implications of driverless cars being used as a taxi service along with this elusive law about taking hands off of the wheel? (I know it is real but I can't find even the name of it, let alone any detailed information). [link] [comments] | ||
