What really is the problem with sensor fusion in robotics and autonomous vehicles? Posted: 10 May 2020 09:05 AM PDT I know this sub seems to be geared more toward self driving car news but I'm very interested in topics about the engineering. I'm a CS student and becoming involved in robotics. It is commonly said that the hardest problem in autonomous vehicles and robotics in general is sensor fusion. But it seems like companies like Waymo have this figured out, so what is the problem with this exactly that we're trying to solve? [link] [comments] | ||
