CVPR'20 Workshop [Call for Papers + Competitions] Posted: 05 Apr 2020 06:04 PM PDT Dear Reddit community, I am one of the organizers for the CVPR'20 'Scalability in Autonomous Driving' workshop: https://sites.google.com/corp/view/cvpr20-scalability We'd like to invite the community (YOU!) to submit short abstracts (2-4 pages) or papers (4-8 pages). The deadline is Wednesday 4/15. The workshop serves as a forum to discuss fresh ideas and early results, or to highlight existing papers or papers under review. (Short abstracts typically do NOT count as dual submission, but please double check). We are also inviting YOU to compete in our 3 competitions, with the deadlines set for the end of May: - Waymo Open Dataset Challenge (deadline 5/31) - Berkeley Interaction Motion Prediction Challenge (deadline 5/29) - Oxford Nightowl Detection Challenge (deadline 5/31) Feel free to reach out to me if there is any question. Thank you! YC PS: There is an uncertainty regarding the format of this year's CVPR due to the current outbreak. Unfortunately, we do not know more than what is announcement on CVPR's website. However, regardless of the outcome, we remain committed to make sure that you get the proper recognition for participation in our challenges and submitting to our workshop. [link] [comments] | ||
What is the most challenging problem to solve in SDCs? Posted: 05 Apr 2020 06:06 PM PDT I love robotics and I am interested in problems like sensor fusion, what sub field would be best for someone like this who wants to work in the industry. What subfield like computer vision, localization/SLAM, ML and control system would be working closest to the final product / is the most important problem to solve [link] [comments] |
