    Implications of modernized GNSS frequencies

    Posted: 26 Mar 2020 04:11 PM PDT

Here's a terrific webinar (by the industry leading GNSS simulator manufacturer) on considerations of modernized GNSS. It's an hour long, but the first 30 minutes was the most valuable in my opinion. https://www.spirent.com/assets/video/webinar_gnss-multi-frequency-integration-fundamentals

Here's a link to the GNSS simulation technologies for those interested: https://www.gnss.ca/spirent/2212-positioning-navigation-timing

First step to become an self-driving car engineer

    Posted: 26 Mar 2020 11:44 AM PDT

I am currently looking for a new job opportunity and would love for it to be within the self-driving car industry. At the moment I am just a "normal" software developer, with that meaning that I don't have the exact specific experience that most of the jobs within the industry requires. Because of that I just wanted to ask if there are any particular job titles that I should look for that would be a good one for getting my foot in the door? I have looked at multiple company webpages and there are multiple jobs to apply to, so instead of looking a bit unprofessional and apply to all of them and hope for the best I figured I would ask you guys for a specific one that I can put all my focus on.

Appreciate any help I can get!

How to find which companies use which technologies?

    Posted: 26 Mar 2020 02:12 PM PDT

Where would I go to find out what different companies are using for their self driving stack? Would it be easier to just look through their job openings or do more in depth research by looking at employees linkedins, news articles, technology conferences etc. ?

Additionally, I'd ideally want to learn more about each companies specific process. Their data collection pipeline, cleanup, training methods. I know Lyft Level 5 has a pretty good blog, and I think Uber has something similar, do other smaller scale companies do the same and have interesting approaches?

The reason I ask is because I was curious if any SDC companies are NOT using a primarily deep learning stack and where they stand.
