Why is Uber ATG not respected? Posted: 30 Jan 2020 01:43 PM PST I got an internship at the company (Uber ATG). I was rejected by all other self driving companies and divisions (NVIDIA, Argo, Aurora, Apple, Waymo) after the interview. Granted, my leetcode skills were not up to date, and i didn't have any research/publications in the AV space yet. But my friends are all lauging at me for accepting this and getting rejected by the others. My school has a very poor reputation / view of the company. Why is this the case? [link] [comments] | ||
Can anyone recommend INS/GNSS please? Posted: 29 Jan 2020 11:07 PM PST Can anyone recommend INS/GNSS they use on their self driving cars? At least recommend on the specifications? Here is a list recommended by Nvidia: https://developer.nvidia.com/drive/drive-core-sensors but I find them quite lacking in specs. My options are : Vectornav VN-300 dual gnss, Applanix pos lvx, Novatel PwrPak7 and Xsense Mti-G-710. Would you recommend any of these?? 1.) do you think dual gnss is a must? 2.) How precise should the IMU and INS should be? 3.) will i need raw IMU (before kalman filter)? 4.) Does anyone use RTK? Note: my application does not have hd-maps :) Thanks in advance.
