    The benefits of having assisted driving as opposed to autonomous/driverless cars?

    Very curious to hear the opinions on this sub-reddit - What do you think are the main pros and cons of having assisted driving with some autonomous mechanisms in place, but still ultimately "controlled" by a driver as opposed to a autonomous/driverless vehicle? When I say driverless, I mean the kind where you could have a nap while you wait to arrive at your destination.
